Kontrol Technologies Corp. has announced the launch of BuildX AI, a new platform designed to transform how commercial and industrial buildings manage HVAC systems and operations. Serving over 400 buildings, Kontrol’s latest innovation leverages AI, advanced sensors, and drone technology to provide real-time data integration and actionable insights for asset managers and building operators.
CEO Paul Ghezzi stated that BuildX AI addresses longstanding industry challenges by harnessing AI to optimize building performance, streamline operations, and support better capital planning. Kontrol will begin multiple customer pilots over the next six months to validate and expand the platform’s capabilities.
In addition, the company disclosed a $680,000 loan agreement with Ghezzi, approved by the board, to support strategic initiatives. Kontrol continues to evaluate acquisition opportunities to further enhance its smart building solutions.
