Greptile, an AI startup focused on automating code review, is reportedly finalizing a $30 million Series A round at a $180 million valuation, led by Benchmark’s Eric Vishria. While terms are not yet confirmed, the deal would mark a significant step forward for the company, which was founded in 2023 by Daksh Gupta after graduating from Georgia Tech.
A graduate of Y Combinator’s Winter 2024 cohort, Greptile previously raised $4 million in seed funding from Initialized Capital. Its AI tool is designed to function like an expert engineering peer, deeply embedded in a customer’s codebase to identify bugs and issues human reviewers may miss.
Facing stiff competition from players like Graphite and CodeRabbit, Greptile is positioning itself aggressively in a crowded market.
