Professional.me Closes $3.1M in Funding to Replace Résumés with AI-Powered Micro-LLMs

Professional.me, the Abu Dhabi–based HRtech startup founded in 2024 by Ryan Adams, has raised $3.1 million in seed funding led by Raha Beach Ventures, bringing its total to $4.6 million. The platform uses personalised micro-LLMs, trained on data from 167 industries and 1.2 million tasks, to create detailed professional profiles that replace traditional résumés and support inclusive hiring.

Since its launch, Professional.me has processed over 300,000 profiles and serves clients across Europe, the UK, and MENA. The latest investment will fuel expansion of the engineering team, strengthen research partnerships, and scale access across EMEA and beyond, positioning Professional.me as a next-generation AI-driven recruitment platform designed to reduce bias and accelerate hiring decisions.
