BetterPic Closes $2.5M Funding Round to Expand AI Imaging and Fashion Platforms

BetterPic, the Ghent-based AI startup founded by Ricardo Ghekiere and Miguel Rasero, has secured $2.5 million in seed funding to accelerate its growth in the AI-powered photography and fashion industry. The round was led by MOC Capital and Shilling VC, with participation from leaders in the tech and fashion sectors.

The new capital will fuel the expansion of BetterStudio and BetterModels, strengthening BetterPic’s vertically integrated ecosystem for AI-driven fashion shoots and professional photography. Known for its AI headshot tool and fashion imaging platform, the company has achieved rapid global traction, reporting sustained month-over-month double-digit growth.

BetterPic has already built a profitable business, achieving multi-million-dollar revenue prior to external investment. With its combination of AI technology and real-world model integration, the company offers brands Verified AI twins to reduce the high costs and production times of traditional fashion shoots.

This milestone positions BetterPic as one of Europe’s fastest-growing AI companies, marking a significant step forward in its mission to reshape professional photography and fashion with scalable, tailor-made AI solutions.
