Google announced the launch of its Gemini AI assistant on Google TV, extending natural language interaction to more than 300 million Google TV and Android TV OS devices worldwide. The rollout begins with the TCL QM9K seriesand will expand later this year to the Google TV Streamer, Walmart onn 4K Pro, 2025 Hisense U7, U8 and UX models, and 2025 TCL QM7K, QM8K and X11K models.
Gemini brings conversational AI to the living room, helping users decide what to watch, recap past seasons, find titles by description, and access reviews. Beyond entertainment, the assistant can handle broader tasks such as homework support, travel planning, or skill learning, while existing Google Assistant commands remain fully supported.
