AudioShake, the AI-driven platform that decomposes audio recordings into individual sound components, has secured $14 million in Series A funding to expand its mission of making sound as programmable and adaptable as text or images. The round was led by Shine Capital, with participation from Thomson Reuters Ventures, Origin Ventures, Background Capital, and returning investors Indicator Ventures and Precursor Ventures.
Founded by Jessica Powell, AudioShake has seen rapid growth, processing more than 100 million minutes of audio and achieving 400% year-over-year revenue growth. The company’s technology is used by major clients including Universal Music, Disney Music Group, Warner Music Group, Warner Bros Discovery, BET, and NFL Films, as well as AI firms building next-generation sound datasets.
