Anthropic Launches Claude Haiku 4.5, Delivering Faster, Lower-Cost AI Performance

Anthropic has unveiled Claude Haiku 4.5, the latest version of its lightweight AI model, offering performance comparable to Claude Sonnet 4 at one-third the cost and more than twice the speed. The company’s internal benchmarks show Haiku 4.5 achieving strong results across key metrics, including 73% on SWE-Bench Verified and 41% on Terminal-Bench, placing it alongside models such as GPT-5 and Gemini 2.5.

Available immediately to all users under Anthropic’s free plans, Haiku 4.5 is designed for high-efficiency applications and large-scale deployments. The compact model enables developers to run multiple agents simultaneously and integrate it with more advanced systems, expanding possibilities for AI-assisted software development and real-time production environments.
