Rosella Raises $3.7M to Deploy AI Agents Across Commercial Insurance Workflows

Rosella, an AI-native commercial insurance brokerage, has raised $3.7 million in pre-seed funding to modernize insurance operations through automation. The round was led by Peak XV Partners and Intact Private Capital, as the company targets inefficiencies across the $215 billion U.S. commercial insurance brokerage market.

Co-founded by Sean Stuart, Rosella is focused on applying AI to streamline submissions, policy comparisons, and servicing workflows that are still heavily manual and fragmented. The platform uses AI document intelligence to analyze policies and identify coverage gaps, alongside automation tools that handle submissions across more than 100 carrier portals and support live customer interactions.

The company aims to improve speed and consistency for small and mid-market clients, as rising risk complexity and market shifts increase demand for more efficient, AI-driven brokerage services.
