ComfyUI Announces $30M at $500M Valuation to Give Creators Granular AI Control

ComfyUI, the node-based AI creative workflow platform, has closed a $30 million funding round at a $500 million valuation, led by Craft Ventures with participation from Pace Capital, Chemistry, and TruArrow.

Founded in 2023 as an open-source response to the limitations of early diffusion models, ComfyUI gives creative professionals precise, step-by-step control over AI-generated image, video, and audio outputs — something standard prompt-based tools cannot offer. Co-founder and CEO Yoland Yan has argued that foundational models alone only get creators part of the way there, with the remaining gap requiring a more surgical approach.

The platform now claims over four million users across visual effects, animation, advertising, and industrial design. This latest raise follows a $19 million Series A in late 2024.
