Weather intelligence company Tomorrow.io has secured an additional $35 million in funding from existing investor Pitango and Harel Insurance, bringing its total Series F raise to $210 million. The Boston-based company is using the capital to advance its AI capabilities alongside the development of its next-generation DeepSky satellite constellation.
Central to that push is an agentic AI platform designed to transform atmospheric data into real-time operational guidance for industries including aviation, energy, and logistics. Co-founder and CEO Shimon Elkabetz said weather remained one of the least integrated forces in business decision-making, and that proprietary high-quality data would become foundational as AI embeds itself across operations.
The expanded funding follows the completion of Tomorrow.io’s Gen1 network of eleven microwave sounder satellites, which now achieves a sixty-minute global atmospheric observation cycle. Co-founder and chief strategy officer Rei Goffer described the forthcoming DeepSky satellites as a significantly more capable generation, equipped with multiple co-located sensors representing a substantial leap beyond the current cubesat design.
