Voice AI startup ElevenLabs has announced a $300 million tender offer allowing employees to sell part of their vested equity at a $22 billion valuation. The figure doubles the $11 billion valuation the company reached in February, when it secured $500 million in funding.
The transaction was co-led by Wellington and T. Rowe Price, large institutional investors that back private companies with the aim of holding their shares after an IPO.
This marks the second secondary sale ElevenLabs has authorized for staff, following a $100 million tender at a $6.6 billion valuation in September 2025. The move reflects a growing trend among fast-growing AI startups that use employee liquidity as a retention tool to keep talent from leaving for competitors.
Founded in 2022, ElevenLabs has built its reputation on generating ultra-realistic human voices and sound effects. With operations in New York and London, its latest valuation places it among Europe’s most valuable startups.
