Sahara AI, a startup merging blockchain and AI, has raised $43 million in a Series A round led by Pantera Capital, Binance Labs, and Polychain Capital, with additional backing from Samsung NEXT, Matrix Partners, dao5, and Geekcartel.
Founded in April 2023, Sahara AI aims to reward users, data sources, and AI trainers through its decentralized platform, contrasting with traditional models that primarily benefit the creating companies.
The funds will be used to expand its team, improve platform performance, and grow its developer ecosystem. The company has already partnered with major tech firms like Microsoft, Amazon, and Snap.
