Microsoft is advancing its AI offerings with the launch of autonomous agents, announced at its AI Tour event in London. These agents, designed to automate specific tasks for enterprise workers, can be built using low-code or no-code instructions in Copilot Studio. Users can direct agents to handle tasks like sorting emails or processing data without the need for coding.
The software will enter public preview next month. This launch is part of Microsoft’s strategy to capitalize on its AI investments, including its partnership with OpenAI, to boost efficiency and drive revenue from its AI-powered Copilot platform.
