Dutch AI Startup Iki.ai Secures Investment from Golden Egg Check to Develop Next-Gen Knowledge Platform

Iki.ai, a Dutch AI startup based in Groningen, has received strategic investment from Golden Egg Check, a prominent Dutch startup analyst firm. While the investment amount remains undisclosed, the partnership marks a key milestone for Iki.ai as it expands its vision for a next-generation knowledge management platform. Iki.ai expressed enthusiasm for working with Golden Egg Check’s Thomas Mensink and Gilles Meijer, noting their impact on the Dutch and European tech scene.

Mensink, CEO at Golden Egg Check, stated that he was introduced to Iki.ai co-founders Ivan Ilin and Max Orlov through Ytsen van der Meer and was “impressed by the team and their product.” He added that as Iki.ai has achieved strong user engagement and revenue potential, this was an ideal time for investment.

Iki.ai offers a powerful AI-driven platform designed to simplify research and knowledge management. Key features include advanced synthesis, natural language querying, and OCR capabilities, allowing users to make a wide range of content — from PDFs to videos — easily searchable and actionable. The platform provides customizable workspaces for collaborative work, making it suitable for tasks such as academic research, market analysis, and content creation.

Iki.ai aims to combat information overload by transforming raw data into actionable insights, benefiting students, researchers, and professionals across industries.
