CaPow Secures $15M Series A to Expand AI-Driven In-Motion Power Delivery for Robotics

CaPow, the developer of Genesis, an in-motion power delivery solution for robotic fleets, has raised $15 million in Series A funding to accelerate global expansion and scale operations. The round was led by Toyota Ventures, with participation from Elements VC, IL Ventures, Payton Planar Magnetics LTD., Mobilion, and Doral Energy-Tech.

As industrial automation advances, efficiency gains have been hindered by the limitations of lithium-ion battery dependency, prolonged charging downtime, and logistical constraints. CaPow addresses these challenges by eliminating charging interruptions through power-in-motion technology, allowing robotic fleets to operate continuously while in transit. By delivering energy without requiring stops, CaPow reduces fleet downtime, lowers capital expenses, and ensures maximum operational throughput.

CaPow’s solution has demonstrated a 32% decrease in total cost of ownership and a 45% increase in operational efficiency for companies integrating its technology. CEO and co-founder Mor Peretz emphasized that the company is redefining energy management in industrial automation, providing a scalable and uninterrupted power solution for robotics, manufacturing, and logistics. He described the funding as a strategic boost that will accelerate innovation and expand CaPow’s market presence.

Earlier this year, Hyundai Cradle, the innovation arm of Hyundai, successfully completed a proof of concept at Hyundai Glovis facilities, where automated guided vehicles (AGVs) equipped with CaPow’s technology achieved 100% uptime. Traditionally, AGVs require an hour of charging for every seven hours of operation, but with CaPow’s in-motion charging, they ran continuously, demonstrating significant efficiency gains.

With fresh investment, CaPow plans to expand into new markets, enhance research and development, and scale production to meet rising industry demand for continuous power solutions in robotics and automation.
