ServiceNow Unveils $1B AI Investment with Yokohama Platform Release

ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW) has announced the launch of its Yokohama platform release, introducing AI-powered agents across CRM, HR, IT, and security operations. The latest innovations leverage AI automation to drive productivity, streamline workflows, and enable enterprise-wide digital transformation. As part of this expansion, ServiceNow has committed $1 billion to advancing AI research, development, and implementation over the next five years.

The Yokohama release includes preconfigured AI agents designed to optimize operations from day one, alongside a comprehensive AI agent management framework. The company has also enhanced its Knowledge Graph and Common Service Data Model (CSDM) to improve AI integration across disparate enterprise data sources, ensuring seamless connectivity.

ServiceNow President and Chief Product Officer Amit Zavery emphasized the significance of agentic AI, stating that businesses are no longer experimenting with AI but demanding solutions that drive productivity at scale. He noted that ServiceNow’s integrated AI, data fabric, and workflow automation provide enterprises with an end-to-end solution that enhances efficiency and predictability.

Key AI innovations in the Yokohama release include AI-powered security agents for threat detection, autonomous change management tools, and proactive network troubleshooting capabilities. ServiceNow has also introduced AI Agent Orchestrator and AI Agent Studio, enabling enterprises to build, onboard, and monitor AI agents with expanded performance analytics and governance features.

Industry leaders including CANCOM, Cognizant, and Sentara have already deployed ServiceNow’s AI solutions to improve efficiency and decision-making.
