Scott Technology has officially launched NexBot, its latest automated guided vehicle (AGV) from its Transbotics division, showcased at ProMat 2025 in Chicago. Developed over 18 months by Scott’s Charlotte-based R&D team, NexBot is purpose-built for material handling and logistics automation, delivering increased efficiency, safety, and operational intelligence to industrial environments.
CEO Mike Christman said the new AGV reflects Transbotics’ legacy of innovation, stating that “NexBot is a powerful step forward in transforming how businesses move materials with precision and autonomy.” Already operational, NexBot combines smart navigation with advanced AI to optimize workflows, minimize downtime, and support dynamic warehouse operations across industries.
