D-ID Acquires Simpleshow to Expand AI-Powered Enterprise Video Platform

D-ID, the AI-driven video generation and editing company, announced the acquisition of Berlin-based Simpleshow, a B2B video creation platform founded in 2008. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Simpleshow will operate under the D-ID umbrella before the two platforms fully merge.

The combined company will consolidate offices in Berlin, Tel Aviv, and the United States, bringing together a team of 140 employees and more than 1,500 enterprise clients, including Adobe, Microsoft, Bayer, HP, T-Mobile, McDonald’s, eBay, and Deutsche Bank. The acquisition strengthens D-ID’s position in the growing market for AI-powered digital avatars used in training, marketing, and sales.

With $60 million raised to date, D-ID said it has secured financing to support the acquisition and accelerate development of interactive avatar-based training and enterprise video solutions.
