Jack & Jill Announces $20M to Redefine Recruiting with Conversational AI

London-based entrepreneur Matt Wilson has launched Jack & Jill, an AI-driven recruitment platform designed to overhaul the traditional hiring process. The company announced $20 million in seed funding led by Creandum, with plans to expand from the UK into the United States following rapid early adoption by nearly 50,000 users.

Built to counter the inefficiencies of mass job applications and fake AI-generated résumés, Jack & Jill replaces traditional job boards with a conversational interface. The “Jack” side of the platform engages job seekers through AI-led profile interviews, mock interviews, and personalized job recommendations, while “Jill” works with employers to identify and elevate top candidates through role-based profiling.

By anchoring recruitment in AI-powered dialogue rather than résumé filtering, the company aims to eliminate the noise and repetition that dominate modern hiring. Wilson describes the platform as an evolution in matching human talent with organizational needs — a scalable approach designed to restore intelligence, precision, and authenticity to the hiring experience.
