Mirror Security, a research-driven AI security company spun out of University College Dublin, has secured $2.5 million in pre-seed funding from Sure Valley Ventures and Atlantic Bridge to expand its breakthrough encrypted AI platform. The investment will accelerate product development across encrypted inferencing and secure fine-tuning, grow engineering teams in Ireland, the U.S. and India, and support entry into U.S. enterprise markets.
Founded by Pankaj Thapa, Seungha Park, and Abhishek Gupta, Mirror delivers a GenAI-native security stack built around VectaX, a fully homomorphic encryption engine that keeps sensitive data encrypted throughout AI computation. The company has signed a multi-million-dollar strategic agreement with Inception AI, part of G42, to deploy its technology across enterprise and government environments. Partnerships with Intel, MongoDB, Qdrant, SiSys AI and Accops further strengthen its commercial ecosystem as it positions FHE-powered security as a foundation for the next decade of AI adoption.
