Articul8, the enterprise AI company spun out of Intel in early 2024, has secured more than half of a planned $70 million Series B funding round at a $500 million pre-money valuation, according to founder and CEO Arun K. Subramaniyan. The round is structured in two tranches, with the initial installment led by Adara Ventures, and is expected to close in full during the first quarter of the year. Aditya Birla Ventures is also participating.
The valuation represents a fivefold increase from Articul8’s January 2024 Series A. The company reported more than $90 million in total contract value across 29 enterprise customers, including Hitachi Energy, AWS, Franklin Templeton, and Intel, and said it is revenue-positive. Articul8 develops specialized AI systems deployed within customer environments for regulated industries, and plans to use the new capital to expand R&D and scale internationally, with a focus on Europe and Asia.
