AI-powered gig discovery platform Shoutt.ai has secured £525,000 in seed funding from SFC Capital and a group of angel investors to accelerate development of its automated job-matching ecosystem for freelancers. Founded by Saleem Yaqub and Jonathan Eadie, the platform uses an always-on AI agent trained by human experts to scan the web and surface highly relevant gig opportunities in real time.
Shoutt.ai is designed to address the fragmented nature of freelance job searching, where workers often spend hours each week across multiple platforms, resulting in significant lost income. The company plans to use the new capital to enhance its AI capabilities, expand data sources, and scale its user base globally.
SFC Capital’s Ed Stevenson said the investment reflects confidence in Shoutt.ai’s ability to reduce time, cost, and friction for independent workers, while Yaqub said the funding supports the company’s mission to give freelancers greater control over how they find and choose work.
