Amsterdam-based hospitality software company Mews has raised $300 million in a Series D funding round led by EQT Ventures, valuing the company at $2.5 billion. The round, the largest ever in hospitality software, also included new investors Atomico and HarbourVest, bringing Mews’ total funding to approximately $475 million.
Led by founder Richard Valtr and CEO Matt Welle, Mews plans to use the capital to deepen its investment in AI, embedding agent-driven systems across its platform to automate hotel operations, optimize revenue, and improve guest experiences. The company serves roughly 15,000 hospitality customers across 85 countries and continues to expand following its acquisition of AI analytics startup DataChat.
