OpenAI has also been engaging sovereign wealth funds in the Middle East, while holding parallel discussions with Nvidia, Microsoft, and SoftBank, according to the New York Times. A potential Amazon deal would be notable given its deep partnership with Anthropic, underscoring intensifying competition and capital concentration across the AI ecosystem.
