Capacity Raises Over $50M in Series E to Expand its Unified AI-Native Customer Experience Platform

Insider Brief

  • Capacity raised more than $54 million in Series E funding, bringing its total raised to over $159 million, following its surpassing $100 million in annual recurring revenue in June after growing 20x in 3.5 years.
  • Founded in 2017, the agentic support automation platform unifies omnichannel AI agents, real-time agent assist, automated QA, and outbound campaigns into a single knowledge orchestration layer, serving more than 20,000 organizations.
  • CEO David Karandish said the funding will accelerate product development, expand go-to-market teams, and support international expansion, building on Capacity’s recent placement in the top 10% of the 2026 Inc. 5000 fastest-growing private companies.

PRESS RELEASE — Capacity, the agentic support automation platform, today announced more than $54M in Series E funding, bringing its total amount raised to date to over $159M. The round follows years of rapid expansion for Capacity, which surpassed $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) in June, growing 20x in 3.5 years.

“We invest in people and companies that have a clear sense of purpose and the ability to execute on it,” said Kathy Ireland, a lead investor of the round. “Capacity has demonstrated both over the past year we’ve worked with them. I’ve seen firsthand the value the technology delivers, and it’s clear there is a significant opportunity ahead for Capacity.”

The investment comes as enterprises become more selective about where they spend their AI budgets. After years of experimentation with multiple point solutions, organizations are looking to consolidate their tech stacks into a platform that supports AI across the entire business and delivers measurable ROI. Capacity has been building towards this shift through continued product development, partnerships and strategic acquisitions.

“A few years ago at Capacity, we made a bet that companies would want fewer vendors,” said David Karandish, CEO and founder of Capacity. “The success of that bet is evident as we continue to grow. As enterprise AI use cases increase, so can complexities. Companies need a way to expand what AI can do without having to rebuild each time. Our train once, use everywhere approach means they can power every channel from the same foundation rather than managing a collection of standalone capabilities.”

Investing in Capacity’s Future

Capacity brings traditionally separate customer experience capabilities together through a shared platform and knowledge orchestration layer. The approach is designed to reduce the integration work required to deploy, manage and expand AI across customer support operations.

The new investment will help the company continue to build in areas such as:

Product

  • Accelerate research and development across the Capacity platform, with continued investment in AI agents, automation and enterprise knowledge orchestration.
  • Continue advancing AI solutions that improve operational efficiency and customer experiences.

Customers

  • Expand go-to-market and customer success teams to support continued customer growth and adoption.

Scale

  • Invest in strategic partnerships and platform integrations to expand Capacity’s ecosystem.
  • Support continued international expansion as Capacity increases its global footprint.

In addition to the raise and its ARR milestone, Capacity also recently ranked in the top 10% of the 2026 Inc. 5000, placing it among the 500 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. The capital will build on this momentum by deepening Capacity’s presence in key industries and continuing its global expansion.
