Intellivisa, a U.S.-based company building an AI-powered clearance engine for international travel, has secured $3 million in pre-seed funding. The round was led by Mu Ventures and Incisive Ventures, with participation from Uncommon Denominator, Recursive Ventures, P2S: AltaIR Capital, Smart Partnership Capital and United Airlines Ventures. It builds on a 2025 angel round backed by Naman Budhdeo, Bobby Patrick, Andy Hunn and Antler.
Embedded in the post-booking flows of airlines, travel management companies and online travel agencies, the platform determines what each itinerary requires based on a traveler’s passport and destination. A team of AI agents then works in parallel to validate documents against real-time embassy rules, check for fraud, complete forms and submit visa and travel authorizations directly to airlines and government systems.
The company supports more than 50 document types from 195 countries, with most applications filed within minutes and approved within 10 to 12 hours at an approval rate above 99%.
CEO and co-founder Sudeepa Singh said the funding would take the company beyond visa processing toward full-stack clearance, with the goal of ensuring every traveler arrives at the airport already cleared. Gary Benerofe, General Partner at Mu Ventures, said Intellivisa was applying agentic workflows to a deeply manual process and was positioned to become critical infrastructure for international travel.
