Technology truly took over Sin City this week, with even the iconic Sphere donning an eye-catching Samsung Galaxy ad.
As per the headline, artificial intelligence (AI) was woven into everything from laptops and TVs to cars, lighting and even grilling gadgets. CES 2024 showcased AI-infused products and robots that aim to make life easier.
The Motion Pillow uses AI to help tackle snoring problems and give you a better night’s sleep. The AI Motion System detects a user’s snoring and slowly inflates airbags to lift their head and open their airway to reduce it. The accompanying app tracks sleep data, including snoring time, airbag operation time, sleep score, sleep time, and even recordings of your snoring to play back later. The Motion Pillow alone costs $699, but it’s 40% off during the CES exhibition period, retailing at $420 1.
CES 2024 also saw the introduction of the Bmind Smart Mirror, which claims to be the world’s first AI-powered smart mirror for mental wellness. The mirror uses AI to analyze facial expressions and provide personalized recommendations for mental wellness. The mirror also includes a built-in camera that can detect changes in skin tone and texture, which can be used to monitor skin health 1.
Other AI-related announcements at CES 2024 included technology that can turn regular tables into wireless chargers, AI technology that monitors the health status of babies and the elderly, a non-invasive AI diagnostic solution that replaces risky and costly myocardial tissue tests, a wireless pacemaker, an at-home laser to reduce wrinkles and renew skin appearance, and a body composition monitoring device for cats 2.
