AI Startup Nayan Tech Secures $2M in Pre-Series A Funding

Nayan Tech, an AI-based startup specializing in smart city solutions, has raised an undisclosed amount in its Pre-Series A funding round, led by BEENEXT, We Founder Circle, and other investors. The funds will be used to expand Nayan’s AI and IoT-powered solutions, focusing on traffic monitoring, municipal automation, urban infrastructure management, and driver behavior monitoring in India and internationally.

Nayan Tech’s core offering includes AI-powered dashcams that provide real-time data for traffic and road safety management, fleet monitoring, and infrastructure assessment. The company’s technology leverages AI algorithms and IoT devices to gather critical insights for urban planners, city administrators, and businesses. With its data-driven approach, Nayan aims to improve road safety, enhance city management, and optimize traffic flow.

Founded by robotics and AI expert Dr. Jayant Ratti, Nayan Tech has already attracted a strong customer base, with over 17,000 drivers across India providing crowdsourced footage to fuel its AI engine. The company has signed contracts with 35 clients and has 60 more in the pipeline, along with a robust intellectual property portfolio that includes over 70 patents.

Nayan Tech plans to use the new funding to scale its operations in India and expand into international markets, including the US, Southeast Asia, and the UAE.
