London-based AI startup Neuphonic has raised €3.5M in pre-seed funding, led by Moonfire VC, with support from Tiny VC, Salica Oryx Fund, and Cur8 Capital. Neuphonic’s patent-pending text-to-speech technology generates real-time speech with ultra-low latency of just 25 milliseconds, positioning it as the fastest TTS solution globally.
Co-founders Sohaib Ahmad and Jiameng Gao, both Cambridge graduates, aim to enhance communication in areas like gaming, AI and real-time translation.
The funds will help Neuphonic expand language capabilities and improve performance as it targets the growing voice AI market.
