Largo.ai Secures $7.5M in Funding to Expand AI-Driven Content Creation

Largo.ai, the AI-powered analytics platform transforming the film, TV, and advertising industries, has secured $7.5 million (€7.2 million) in funding, with Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone among its new investors. The Series A funding round was co-led by Los Angeles-based TI Capital and QBIT Capital, with additional participation from Atreides Management in Boston, former Activision Blizzard executive Thomas Tippl, and Swiss private equity firm DAA Capital.

The investment will drive Largo.ai’s expansion, allowing the company to enhance its AI-driven content analysis and production tools. Currently working with over 600 companies in film and TV, including major Hollywood studios and large agencies, Largo.ai plans to launch Version 3 of its platform, which will introduce actionable recommendations alongside existing tools and generate early-stage creative concepts that closely resemble final production outcomes.

Sami Arpa, CEO and Co-Founder of Largo.ai, highlighted the changing perception of AI in filmmaking, stating that when the company launched in 2020, AI’s role was largely confined to streaming giants. He noted that the company’s mission was to democratize AI-driven filmmaking for a more traditional industry. As AI adoption has grown, especially with technologies like ChatGPT, the industry has embraced its potential. He emphasized that AI is not about replacing creativity but rather about making content creation faster, easier, and less risky.

With this latest funding, Largo.ai is set to solidify its position as a key player in AI-powered content development, offering tools that provide deep insights and creative guidance to filmmakers and advertisers. The company’s continued innovation aims to bridge the gap between AI-driven analytics and human creativity, ensuring that AI serves as an empowering tool for the entertainment industry.
