Safe Pro Group Inc. (Nasdaq: SPAI), a leader in artificial intelligence (AI)-driven drone imagery analysis, unveiled its latest innovations at SHOT Show 2025. The company’s SpotlightAI™ technology, designed for rapid detection of explosive threats, was featured in a video interview produced by Talking Guns Media (TGM), a platform focused on firearms and ballistic technology news.
During the event, Safe Pro introduced its AI-powered SpotlightAI™ system, an advanced image analysis tool capable of identifying over 150 types of land mines and unexploded ordnance (UXO). Operating on Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud, SpotlightAI™ processes drone images at sub-second speeds, providing high-resolution mapping that enhances situational awareness for military, law enforcement, and humanitarian organizations. The company’s proprietary AI has already analyzed more than 921,471 drone images in Ukraine, detecting over 16,540 explosive remnants of war (ERW) across 4,219 hectares. Compared to traditional human analysis, which can take minutes per image, SpotlightAI™ achieves this in under 0.2 seconds.
At SHOT Show 2025, Safe Pro also introduced its ‘305 PRO’ body armor plate, a lightweight, ultra-thin ballistic protection solution designed for law enforcement. Dan Erdberg, Chairman and CEO of Safe Pro Group Inc., emphasized the overwhelming response to the armor, noting the growing need for high-performance, American-made protective gear. He stated that law enforcement and public safety personnel face increasing high-power threats, reinforcing the company’s commitment to providing advanced ballistic protection solutions.
Safe-Pro USA, a HUBZone-certified small business, has decades of experience in the defense industry, specializing in the manufacture of blast-resistant personal protection equipment. The company offers a broad range of bulletproof solutions, including body armor, demining aprons, bomb blankets, and complete Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) systems. Many of these products are available through the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contract, making them accessible to federal, state, and local agencies.
