Blackbird.AI Announces $28M Strategic Round to Scale AI-Driven Narrative Intelligence Platform

Blackbird.AI, a New York–based artificial intelligence company specializing in narrative intelligence, has raised $28 million in strategic funding to expand its AI-powered platform for detecting and countering disinformation. The round included backing from Ten Eleven Ventures and Dorilton Ventures, alongside prominent cybersecurity leaders Dave DeWalt, CEO and founder of NightDragon and former CEO of FireEye and McAfee, and Chris Young, former Microsoft EVP of Strategy and Ventures and former CEO of McAfee.

Led by founder and CEO Wasim Khaled, Blackbird.AI develops AI systems designed to identify, analyze, and mitigate narrative-based threats targeting enterprises, governments, and senior leaders. The company said the new capital will be used to accelerate go-to-market execution and further advance its AI-driven narrative intelligence technology. Blackbird.AI’s platform is used by Global 2000 companies and national security organizations to protect against AI-generated disinformation that can create financial, operational, reputational, and physical risk.
