Red Sea Global and Bunat VC Launch Saudi-Focused AI Venture Fund

Red Sea Global (RSG) has partnered with Bunat Ventures Limited (Bunat VC) to launch a new venture fund dedicated to backing AI-driven startups in Saudi Arabia. The fund will target early- and growth-stage companies that are either AI-native or use artificial intelligence as a core business enabler, with plans to invest in around 25 startups over the next three years.

The initiative will prioritize Saudi-based founders and Saudi-founded companies expanding globally into the Kingdom. In addition to capital, portfolio companies will gain access to RSG’s operational environments, including The Red Sea and AMAALA, allowing startups to pilot and validate AI solutions in real-world settings. Sultan Moraished, Group Head of Technology and Corporate Excellence at RSG, and Khaled Zainalabedin, CEO and Managing Partner at Bunat VC, said the partnership is designed to strengthen the Kingdom’s AI ecosystem by accelerating innovation, talent development, and the creation of national and regional AI champions.
