India-based voice AI startup Bolna has raised a $6.3 million seed round as growing enterprise demand for voice-driven automation begins translating into sustained revenue. The round was led by General Catalyst, with participation from Y Combinator, Blume Ventures, and other institutional and individual investors.
Founded by Maitreya Wagh and Prateek Sachan, Bolna provides a voice AI orchestration platform tailored to Indian enterprise use cases across customer support, sales, hiring, and training. After initial skepticism from investors, the company demonstrated consistent monthly revenue exceeding $25,000, helping secure acceptance into Y Combinator’s Fall 2025 batch. Bolna’s platform connects multiple voice AI technologies while addressing local requirements such as multilingual interactions, noise handling, and caller verification via Truecaller.
