Lovable Expands Google Cloud Partnership with Fivefold AI Infrastructure Scale-Up

Stockholm-based vibe-coding startup Lovable has agreed a multiyear expansion of its partnership with Google Cloud, involving a fivefold increase in cloud footprint including significantly greater AI usage. The deal gives Lovable expanded access to both Anthropic’s Claude models and Google’s own Gemini models for coding tasks.

The Anthropic dimension carries particular weight. Google invested $10 billion in Anthropic in April, with a further $30 billion contingent on performance targets — making Lovable’s rapid growth directly relevant to those milestones. Lovable crossed $400 million in annualised revenue in February, adding $100 million in a single month with just 146 employees, and claims more than half of Fortune 500 companies use its product.

Under the agreement, Lovable’s agent will be listed in Google Cloud’s Gemini Enterprise Agent Gallery, simplifying enterprise procurement. Lovable will also integrate with Wiz, Google’s $32 billion security acquisition, enabling real-time identification and remediation of vulnerabilities in both human-written and AI-generated code.

For Google, the deal supports its broader strategy of funding between $180 billion and $190 billion in AI infrastructure expenditure this year by keeping high-growth AI companies deepening their cloud dependency.
