Superblocks Partners With AWS to Bring Vibe Coding Into Enterprise Private Clouds

Superblocks, a vibe-coding startup, has signed a multiyear joint marketing agreement with Amazon Web Services that will allow its tool to be embedded directly within the private clouds of AWS enterprise customers. Under the arrangement, applications built through Superblocks will use Amazon Aurora databases and integrate with Amazon Bedrock, keeping business data within a company’s own AWS environment rather than routing it to external model providers or databases.

Co-founder and CEO Brad Menezes said the setup ensures data never leaves a customer’s private cloud, remaining subject to existing security, encryption, and auditing controls. AWS confirmed it will help promote Superblocks to enterprise customers, noting it currently lacks its own vibe-coding tool aimed specifically at business users, distinguishing the partnership from AWS’s existing developer-focused coding agent and general AI assistant offerings.

The deal comes as cloud providers increasingly encourage enterprises to separate AI models from surrounding infrastructure, favoring multi-model strategies over reliance on any single AI lab. Menezes said enterprise sentiment has shifted rapidly toward adopting multiple frontier and open-weight models, including Chinese alternatives, arguing that CIOs increasingly view single-model dependency as a liability. Superblocks, which has raised $60 million to date backed by investors including Spark Capital, Kleiner Perkins, Meritech Capital, and Greenoaks, stands to benefit from this broader industry shift toward secure, cloud-native AI development tools.
