Corvus Robotics, a provider of autonomous inventory management systems, has launched an updated version of its Corvus One system, which now operates in distribution centers without requiring additional infrastructure like reflectors or beacons. The development is backed by $18 million in Series A and seed funding led by S2G Ventures and Spero Ventures.
Marc Tarpenning, co-founder of Tesla and partner at Spero Ventures, praised Corvus Robotics’ innovation, noting its ease of deployment and cost-effectiveness.
Corvus One uses computer vision and AI for autonomous navigation, safely flying in both narrow and wide aisles without disrupting workflows. Its advanced barcode scanning capabilities and 24/7 operation provide continuous inventory monitoring. Austin Feagins, senior director at Staci Americas, credited Corvus One with reducing fulfillment delays and production impacts by running inventory checks off-shift.
CEO Jackie Wu said the new funding will support Corvus Robotics’ rapid growth and further product development, positioning the company as a leader in inventory optimization technology.
