Vietnam’s AI Hay Closes $10M Series A to Expand Consumer AI Platform Across Southeast Asia

Vietnam-based AI startup AI Hay has raised $10 million in a Series A round led by Argor Capital, with participation from Square Peg, Northstar Ventures, AppWorks, and Phoenix Holdings. The round brings total funding to over $18 million for the company, which was launched in May 2024.

Founded by alumni of Vietnam’s top consumer tech platforms, AI Hay operates a fast-growing knowledge discovery platform that merges generative AI with social features tailored to local users. With over 15 million downloads and 100 million queries monthly, the company plans to scale its web offerings, enhance AI-driven education and entertainment tools, and develop AI companion features to support everyday digital experiences for Vietnam’s 100 million citizens.
