Sawt Raises $1M to Scale Arabic AI Voice Platform and Transform Customer Support in the Middle East

Sawt, a Saudi-based AI startup building Arabic-native voice call systems, has closed a $1 million pre-seed round led by T2 and STV, marking a pivotal step in its mission to reinvent customer service across the region. The company has rapidly developed one of the Middle East’s most advanced Arabic voice AI platforms, offering businesses a 24/7 AI-powered call system for support, bookings, and sales — without the need for human agents.

Born from the inefficiencies of traditional call centers, Sawt replaces long wait times and repetitive queries with natural-sounding AI agents capable of intelligent conversations and enterprise-grade data security. Built entirely in Saudi Arabia, the platform reflects a local-first approach aligned with the country’s Vision 2030 AI ambitions.

Already powering hundreds of thousands of voice interactions, Sawt plans to use the new funding to expand its technical infrastructure, grow its team, and refine its proprietary voice models to serve a growing roster of enterprise clients. As the GCC’s AI call center automation market approaches $1.2 billion, Sawt positions itself as a regional leader in delivering fast, scalable, and secure AI-driven customer experiences.
