Sparkli, a generative AI startup focused on immersive learning for children, has raised $5 million in pre-seed funding led by Founderful. Founded in 2025 by former Google employees Lax Poojary, Lucie Marchand, and Myn Kang, Sparkli uses generative AI to create interactive, multimedia learning “expeditions” tailored for children aged five to twelve.
The platform generates audio, video, images, quizzes, and games in real time, allowing kids to explore topics through interaction rather than text or voice alone. Sparkli is currently piloting with school networks reaching more than 100,000 students and plans to expand globally through educational partnerships before opening consumer access in 2026. Founderful founding partner Lukas Weder cited the team’s technical depth and the need for more engaging, real-world learning experiences for children as key drivers behind the investment.
