OpenAI Forms “Frontier Alliances” with Global Consultancies to Accelerate Enterprise AI Adoption

OpenAI has launched a new enterprise initiative called “Frontier Alliances,” establishing multi-year partnerships with leading consulting firms Boston Consulting Group (BCG), McKinsey, Accenture, and Capgemini to expand deployment of its artificial intelligence technologies across large organizations. The collaboration will combine OpenAI’s platforms, including its agent-building system OpenAI Frontier, with the consultancies’ industry expertise to integrate AI into core business operations.

OpenAI’s Forward Deployed Engineering teams will work alongside consultants to implement AI agents and applications within enterprise technology stacks. The strategy reflects the company’s focus on driving large-scale transformation rather than incremental automation, as many corporations continue to struggle to realize returns from AI investments. Enterprise growth has been identified as a major priority for 2026 as OpenAI seeks broader commercial adoption beyond consumer products.
