Rapidata, a company specializing in human intelligence for artificial intelligence training, has secured $8.5 million in a Series Seed funding round to expand its global feedback network. The round was co-led by Canaan Partners and IA Ventures, with participation from Acequia Capital and BlueYard.
Founded by CEO Jason Corkill, Rapidata provides AI developers with rapid access to large-scale human judgments for labeling, validation, and model evaluation. The platform distributes opt-in microtasks through widely used consumer applications, enabling continuous feedback cycles that can be completed in days rather than months. By integrating directly into AI workflows, Rapidata aims to address a growing bottleneck in model improvement as demand for high-quality human input increases. The new funding will support expansion of its global network and infrastructure.
