Vinci Closes $250M Series B at $1.5B Valuation to Expand AI Physics Platform Beyond Semiconductors

Vinci, an AI-native engineering platform founded by Hardik Kabaria, has secured $250 million in Series B financing at a $1.5 billion valuation. The round was co-led by Advent, Temasek and Xora, with participation from AMD Ventures, Madrona, Eclipse and Khosla Ventures.

The company will use the capital to extend its platform from semiconductor physics into a wider range of hardware engineering applications, with potential uses in automotive, aerospace and advanced computing, where engineers must coordinate complex interactions across physics, materials, manufacturing and electrical systems.

Vinci’s technology gives engineers a continuous, real-time view of how products will physically behave during design, rather than relying on isolated simulation checkpoints, allowing risks to be identified earlier. The platform combines automated design understanding, agentic orchestration, a Foundation Model for Physics and GPU-native physics kernels to rapidly analyze manufacturing-scale designs. It is built to operate zero-shot across new designs, requiring no customer-specific training or fine-tuning.

Expanding beyond semiconductors will mean competing in a mature engineering simulation market with established players, where Vinci will need to demonstrate clear advantages across specialized industries and build trust as it moves from predicting behavior toward recommending and generating designs.
