Entourage Closes Oversubscribed €100M Fund II to Back AI, Robotics and Deep Tech
Ghent-based early-stage investor Entourage has closed its second fund at €100 million ($111 million), surpassing its €75 million target within two weeks. Backers include entrepreneurs, family offices and private investors such as the founders of Aikido, TechWolf and Collibra.
Fund II will invest in around 25 pre-seed and seed companies across Europe and beyond, with initial checks of €1 million to €5 million and capacity for follow-on rounds. It will focus on AI, enterprise software, robotics and deep tech.
Since launching in March 2024, Entourage has made early investments in Aikido, which reached a $1 billion valuation in January 2026 after a $60 million Series B, as well as Conveo and Lexroom, each of which secured $50 million rounds this year.
Founder and general partner Pieterjan Bouten, who co-founded Showpad and grew it beyond $100 million in annual recurring revenue before its sale to Vector Capital, said the firm is doubling down with the new fund. Entourage typically leads or co-leads rounds but rarely takes board seats, with Bouten saying strong founders need trust and timely challenge rather than close supervision.
The move into robotics and physical AI, which require more capital and longer timelines, will be a key test. The raise follows other European AI funds from Merantix and Headline.
