The investment, reported by Nikkei, involves purchasing advanced graphics processing units from NVIDIA. This financial commitment, adding to the previous year’s investment of 20 billion yen, aims to establish SoftBank with Japan’s most robust computing capabilities, potentially positioning it as a significant domestic force in the generative AI space.
