Singulr AI Secures $10M to Advance AI Governance and Security

Singulr AI, an enterprise AI governance and security platform, has raised $10 million in seed funding, led by Nexus Venture Partners and Dell Technologies Capital, with participation from industry executives. The funding supports the official launch of Singulr AI’s platform, which is already in use across technology, finance, and healthcare sectors.

Founded in 2023 by Shiv Agarwal and Abhijit Sharma, who previously built Arkin Net before its acquisition by VMware, Singulr AI enables enterprises to scale AI adoption while managing security risks and operational costs. Agarwal emphasized the growing concerns around AI proliferation and security risks, stating that the increasing use of generative AI across employees, partners, and vendors requires an enterprise-grade solution to ensure security and compliance.

The platform addresses critical challenges such as Shadow AI detection, AI service rationalization, and compliance with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 standards. Jishnu Bhattacharjee, Managing Director at Nexus Venture Partners, underscored the importance of AI governance, noting that businesses need structured oversight to safely harness AI’s transformative power.

With a presence in Palo Alto and Pune, Singulr AI is expanding its role in enterprise AI security, helping CIOs manage AI service inventory while enabling CISOs to enforce security policies, prevent data leaks, and mitigate unauthorized AI usage.
