SpangleAI Announces $6M in Seed Funding, Emerges from Stealth to Transform AI-Powered E-Commerce

SpangleAI has officially launched from stealth with $6 million in seed funding to revolutionize e-commerce through AI-driven, self-optimizing shopping experiences. Backed by Madrona Ventures and Streamlined Ventures, the company is bridging the gap between marketing and e-commerce, enabling retailers to maximize conversion rates, revenue, and customer engagement.

SpangleAI leverages its proprietary ProductGPT, an AI model designed to analyze consumer behavior, merchant data, and product interactions in real time. The platform delivers personalized and adaptive shopping journeys, eliminating the inefficiencies of static online storefronts. Controlled A/B tests have already demonstrated a 51% lift in conversions, a 46% increase in engagement, and a 2x improvement in Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).

CEO Maju Kuruvilla emphasized that e-commerce has struggled with personalization due to reliance on limited, backward-looking data, adding that SpangleAI introduces a next-generation AI commerce platform designed to deliver real-time, dynamic experiences. Madrona Ventures’ Managing Director Scott Jacobson highlighted SpangleAI’s ability to drive meaningful improvements in customer engagement and conversion, particularly in paid channels.

Retailers such as WHP Global’s Anne Klein have already integrated SpangleAI to enhance digital customer experiences and unlock new efficiencies.
