Persefoni AI, a leading provider of AI-powered sustainability management software, has raised $23 million in Series C funding, bringing its total capital raised to $179 million. The round included continued support from TPG Rise, Rice Investment Group, Clearvision Ventures, NGP Energy Technology Partners, Prelude Ventures, and company Co-Founder and CEO Kentaro Kawamori.
Persefoni’s platform uses artificial intelligence to help companies and financial institutions manage carbon emissions, develop decarbonization strategies, and comply with evolving global standards like SB 253, CSRD, ISSB, and CDP. Kawamori said the funding will support product development and operational expansion. Upcoming features in 2025 include an AI-driven product carbon footprint and lifecycle analysis tool, enhanced audit capabilities, and a self-serve analytics builder.
