AI Developer Assistant Startup Nia Announces $850K for Autonomous Engineering Agent Platform

Nia, an emerging AI platform building autonomous engineering agents, has secured $850,000 in pre-seed funding to accelerate the development of its AI-powered coding assistant. Led by LocalGlobe and joined by No Label Ventures, Andrena Ventures, Ventures Together, Eurasian Hub Ventures, and Artificial Societies (YC W25), the round will support team expansion and further development of Nia’s intelligent backend infrastructure.

Founded by 18-year-old Arlan Rakhmetzhanov, Nia aims to transform AI from a passive tool into an active engineering teammate. Unlike conventional assistants, Nia deeply understands codebases, navigates complex repositories, and creates a live knowledge graph across projects. The platform is now in beta, integrating with terminals and Slack to streamline onboarding and accelerate developer productivity.
