New York-based EdTech startup Litero AI has raised $800,000 in pre-seed funding to accelerate development of its AI-driven academic writing platform. The round was led by Pre-Seed to Succeed (P2S) with support from angel investors.
Litero AI provides students with an AI-powered writing assistant that offers real-time guidance, access to scholarly sources, plagiarism and AI-content detection, personalized feedback, and grade predictions. Currently available in English, the platform is designed to function as a comprehensive academic writing mentor. With this funding, Litero AI plans to scale operations and deepen its product capabilities as it expands its reach across educational institutions in the U.S. and beyond.
